That was my thinking ... a bit more time playing with this might do the trick.

I'm glad that Lydia commented. When I was voting, I was stunned by this shot. What a bunch of work, and what wonderful idea! I loved the feet.

But then I looked at it and I didn't like the color cast. It seemed a tad underexposed. And the shot itself just didn't do it for me. I gave it a 6, but I really, really wanted to give it a 9. The idea and pieces were sooooo excellent, but I really think it could have been a better photo, even with a color balance/exposure correction. Add some more processing to make it pop and bit more and it would have been truly spectacular.

I did enter or get around to voting this challenge, so I just encountered this gem. I find this wonderfully imagined and skillfully implemented. I found the theme utterly uninspiring, but that is clearly because I was not creative enough. Very nicely done.

Oh man I really thought this would ribbon.
I gave two 10's and this was one of them.
Still a great shot. You should frame this and hang it in your bathroom.

The "Lawndry Room"! Brilliant. I guess that this would be one way to keep your lawn from freezing in the winter.
I also like the footsie thing going on.
Congrats on the high marks with this.

This looks like a lot of work and I am happy I don't have to clean it up, lol. The lengths we go to for DPC. Very imaginative.

Fun take on the challenge. And a great way to deal with an overflowing bath!

What I like:
- Wow. It made me blink twice when the pic popped up on my screen.

What I don't like:
- I'm speechless still

Overall: super interesting bathroom/ lawn. Looks straight out of National Geographic.

7 from me (earlier).

I LOVE the idea... and your hard work! What a place! Ha!

But, the image is... uhhh... not as impressive to me as the amount of time you spent orchestrating it.

I'm NOT trying to be mean... not at all. I'm trying to encourage you!

It seems dull on my monitor. I want some... POP!! (especially after you took the time to trash your bathroom!)

If you're gonna haul some sod into your bathroom, AND then clean it up afterward... make it POP! Make it special! Make it... AMAZING!

Make it so... I can't help but give it a 10.

Ask others to help you. I don't know enough to fix it... just to see it.

I'm SURE this will score very well for you... because of the "Effort Vote".

And... I'm glad for you. I haven't entered... I'm just telling you what I think.

Ask others how to make this brilliant image... POP!!

Hard to tell what was more difficult - setting up that grass, or getting a shot of 2 people in the tub like that! =]
It is a fun shot that works well. The white balance could use a bit of tweaking and some sharpness and contrast / dodge-burn could really make this a stunner.

10 for you, your my second favourite in the challenge :)
