Amazing! Makes me want to.... *sniffle* Whatever you do... SAVE this photo forever! The baby will find it surreal in his grown up days!

Nice portrait of them in this magical moment. It's wonderful how bright-eyed the elder gentleman is, tenderly touching life to life. The blurred vignette is a bit strong, but certainly effective in drawing attention to the heart of the image. Good photograph of time itself.

I SOOO LOVE THIS PHOTO!!! I can't vote on it knowing whom it belongs too, but this brings a tear to my eye every time I see it. Congrats Grandma!
One of your best works yet!
How personal and touching this is and what a wonderful story this photo tells without words.

The circle.
One radiating, the other living off trust.
So much life left in the old eyes, and so much life ahead in the closed one's.

Oh what a wonderful capture of youth. The sparkle in his eyes says to me that he is still the young man he was so many years ago and he looks so very proud to hold this sweet bundle. Nicely done.

Beautiful portrait marred only by the unnatural blur/vignette and a question: why do that? I so wanted to give a high vote by imagining a crop centering on the head and hands of such an incredible human being and incredible capture. Should have been a 10 but only a 6.

A century apart... just amazing. A very touching shot but the vignette blur is a little to strong IMO. Thanks for sharing the remarkable image.

Amazing portrait in expression and extreme contrast of age. The blur is a bit too heavy for my eye though.

Poignant. Priceless. The beginning and the end - all the same, really. I love the way his arms complete the circle.

I didn't vote because I saw this on Facebook. Welcome back, by the way. The subject couldn't be better, and the lighting is good. The only negative for me is the excessive blur on the sides. I hope that wasn't ubique's evil influence. He is a notorious vignettist.

Awesome! What a juxtaposition! I almost never say what I'd have done (what do I know?) but as the exception that proves the rule I'd have eased back on the peripheral blur, just a wee bit. But this is more than a once-in-a-lifetime shot opportunity, and you have done a great job of it. Thank you.

Very endearing portrait, I'm not sure about the soft rendition or the blur vignette, but there is no denying the power of this slice of human story.

nice photo, but kind of cliche theme (not ubique's fare for sure), and I'm also not wild about blurring the edges
