we honestly didn't know what to worry about most in this spirito primitivo. liked the starfish and the giant crochet needle, but in the end it is the canine linguist.

I hope Paul goes around commenting as "dia-ubique" (because he's not in enough trouble already ahahhahahha)

The focus of the one eye while the rest of the scene fades. Nicely done.

A wonderful glimpse of the mind of this doggie. Such efficient multitaskers at the best of times, and a great pic as well.

Giving you the evil eye - don't mess with me! Dog with attitude. I really like limited color pallet and the blur works.

This is so one of my spark personal ribbon favorites!

This really turned my head with the processing and I know Ubique loves heavy vignettes as well. so This is so his style and I am sure he will be pleased with this as much as I was when I first opened up this image, even with the touch of blur makes it perfect. I do expect this to be a blue! I will be so disappointed if it is not.
Having the subject be a pet, is one of my favorite styles, tones on this are just amazing and so well done. You should be proud of this image.

Normally don't give 10s but this one is my 10 and top fav.

Excellently caught moment of intensity. I like the extent of focus on the dog's head and the obliteration of most everything else. Is that a toy or a carcass? It's delectably unapparent. All that's left is the intensity. The vignette is interesting and also works well.

It is clear who the winner is, but do you think there are enforcable rules about the end of the game?

Playful or maybe not? Your processing/presentation add to this uncertainty. A nice addition to the challenge.

How fabulous. I can just hear the blood curdling squeal as the beast is demolishing his prey. Told with the perfect amount of enigma and shtik and the processing is perfect too!

Could something so vicious become so endearing? You proved it right. It is a lovely shot and the eye of your dog is very intelligent; the other might be crying!

Crikey! When I first looked I thought they were humongous fangs! It's a satisfyingly weird photograph, with all the negligent nonsense I love: brutal vignette, extravagant blur, and the transformative effect of making something benign look instead like a nightmare. You've got the touch! Thank you.

I enjoy the references in this image! The blur has caused the appearance of savagery and the red play thing enacts its role in building the drama.

On the edge of parody, I like that.
