As was mentioned in a thread related to this challenge, folks commented that "taking to the street" was actually a counterchallenge for rural residents. Hence, my street...

Added a filter to help enhance a drab, flat gray sky.

No matter how well or how poor this image does, I owe a huge debt of gratitude to Steve R. (Yo_Spiff) for his excellent and thorough help on how to convert to B&W in Corel PSP. THANKS STEVE!

Looks like one of these areas where it's hard to do classical street photography. I'm not too fond of the border, but I like how street and cables converge.

nice photo, however does not ring "street photography" to me. not so much because the "street" is rural, but because there is no trace of human element
