Standing on bridge, looking down on park police horse. A little snow remains in the fence shadow.

3/16 - Thanks for the the high marks and favorites. The flattened perspective, that tvsometime mentioned, is what I find fascinating.

fantastic composition. And what's great is that the shadow looks more real than the real thing

When I first thought of entering this challenge, this was the kind of shot I'd hoped to get. I doubt it would've been as awesome as this.

Like tanguera noted, it reminds me of another photo that I (think) is Nat Geo, of cows standing in the pasture. Great use of shadow, great entry.

Fantastic image. I do love this. Reminds me of the famous Nat Geo camel shadow image.

Beautiful interpretation of the topic into a modernist effect of flattened perspective and simplified composition retaining the essential elements and transforming them into time shifting shadows. Brilliant. bump

Quite the conundrum here, is that the shadow or another horse, good find!

Thumbnail does NOT do this justice... The shading and textures are just Wow, in my humble opinion your subject and the ground are so strong that the fence line n snow just take away from this shot...Still gonna give it a 7 because I love it that much

Good one! Composition would be better if cropped in horizontal rectangle, keeping only the horse. 5
