Wow.....some here take themselves wayyyyyyy to seriously....I am not into this sort of forum crap....just want to share some photos when I have the time from my photography business. I am not interested in long posts back and forth, because one wants to prove their point, or feel that their comment was not marked as helpful. I just want to look at others photos and share some if mine, NOT INTERESTED IN THE DRAMA!!!!!!

And God bless you all.....even the ones who's comments I deem as not helpfull to me to further my career as a professional photographer.

Except ME...... I was the only one that dared express something other than glowing praise, hence mine was the only comment not marked by you as "helpful".

Don't get me wrong..... there is much to like about this photograph, which is the very reason why I even bothered to comment. It is gorgeous.... I just felt (and still feel) it would be better if it showed me what I am sooooo dying to see!!!

I do find it a little sad, though..... just because I didn't call you a GOD, that doesn't necessarily mean my comment should be the only useless one.

Isn't there a chance that even negative, constructive critism could be useful to you in some way? Doesn't it still tell you something about how your image connected with some people? Could you honestly not find something "helpful" in such a comment?

This is the very reason I so rarely bother to comment these days...... I just don't believe in gushing praise when I feel I could, instead, add something remotely useful. And yet, unless you call somebody "God's gift to photography", a comment is rarely welcomed.

All the best to you, though.... your photo is mostly very lovely!

This is a great image that goes beyond a photograph and just draws you into the scene emotionally. No distractions. Just attractions. Nicely done.

Huge congratulations on your first Blue and new PB! So very happy for you and it's very well deserved for this wonderfully shot and processed image of a genuine character. Somehow you've managed to capture the obvious pride he has always had in his work; that is oft times very difficult to achieve.

WOW thanks everyone. This is my mate 85 years young Keith. He is one of the best armature winder and balancer in Australia.
Keith Used to have a very successful business and sold it many years ago when he retired from business. The current owners still get him in to balance armatures when they have trouble with any of their jobs. BTW he was also my model for the Jack and Jill photo on a sad note my wife naomik and self lost our little fur daughter (Jack Russell) of 18 years to old age last week. The pain is unbearable but we know that she is now in the arms of Jesus.

God Bless you all.

This guy looks like he knows what he is doing…I believe you do too. I mean think about the stories that drill press could tell!

Great concept. I like the idea. The BW strikes me as a bit harsh in the photo, but all in all, nice shot.

What a strange way to compose/crop this - cutting off the very thing that this is all about. What is he doing? I so want to see his other hand!!!!
