 One of the last shots I took in 2014, but one of my favorites. I had saved up a bunch of "Art" shots from the year, but none of them held a candle to this wonder.

Has an Ansel Adams feel to it. Nice composition and processing. There's an eerie, haunting feeling to the image... the spikes created by broken branches adds a hint of horror. Lots of feeling/emotion generated when one stops to take in the image fully... something that the 30 second voters will miss completely, I feel.
