Bottom of the Pack Analytical Comments
Every challenge I am going to leave comments on some of the photos that finished at the bottom of the pack. I will try and explain why I think the photo did not do well in the challenge, which will hopefully result in increased rankings in your future photos.

1) This photo does not immediately fit the challenge without an explaination. The photo should speak for itself and not rely on an explaination. It may fit the challenge if people think about it for long enough, but with 200 photos to vote on, most people will only look at your photo for a few seconds before deciding it doesnt meet the challenge and moving on.
2) Clarity. Your photo isn't sharp, which is what a lot of voters look for when scoring a photo.
3) Composition. It is very centered. Many voters look for good use of the rule of thirds when voting, or at least a composition which adds interest to the perspective.

| this is a great shot - nice leading lines, good colour, good composition - but it doesn't relate to education for me. |

lol your gonna have to take another shoot -
pitty i think it would of scored high in the October Free Study - here you get a [1] cause obviously your way off the subjet - hahahaha |

| beautiful photo, i would be scared to walk down this at night. your vanishing point is almost dead center. not sure how this fits the challenge though. |

| OK nice enough path, not the most beautiful path though. Reasonable colours, but again nothing truly inspiring. Now where is the connection to school, maybe you walked down the path to school, I don't know. I can't make a connection. |

| I don’t see how the photograph meets the challenge of education. But that’s just my opinion. However you have taken a good and interesting photograph. I will be coming backing to this photograph over and over until the challenge ends to see if I can find a link between the photo, title, and challenge. |

The photo on it's own is not too bad (though not great), but it doesn't make me think of school...
I think the photo itself could have been improved with a nicer sky (waiting for better light), offsetting the path and getting closer to the ground to take the photo... |

| It's in the title...This is a really nice fall photo in my eyes, but how does it relate to school? Maybe the road to [something school related] would suit it better...great scene, but it will suffer because it doesn't clearly relate to the challenge. |

Hello my good photograph who needs a little bit more of « lien » with the subject.
That's a beautiful picture but I don't see a big « lien » with school day.
I can even see a little one. It's the road we take to go to school. |

| While it's a nice photo, I just don't see the education...maybe if it was called The Road Less Travelled, I'd see a connection...? Or if there was a schoolhouse in the distance...but as is, I'm voting it low... |
