I also have to agree with the comments of Paul. First look feels quite cluttered and the elements appear to be alone and without cohesion. Then the obscured mothers gaze and the hand bring it all together. |

I like what ubique says - "it nearly falls apart." 8 from me. |

I like the overall look and feel. However, my eye is drawn to the Prius, rather than the intended subject. |

Very interesting image. I keep looking at it and discover more and more. Should finish in the top 5. A 7 from me |

Nearly falls apart, but then the disembodied hand somehow holds everything together.
I love street photography above all other kinds, and I have to say this is immensely ambitious because it's not quite as sharply observed as the classics of the genre (which tend to share a lot in common with good political or social commentary cartoons).
Your picture is more sophisticated and demanding, and probably no better off for that! But the fabulous hand rescues you from obscurity and confusion. Now I wish I could insert a hand in this comment somewhere, to perform the same rescue service for me. Maybe posthumous will give you one. I'm giving you a 7+ score and a thank you. |

A delightfully tension-filled scene full of obscurity and contrast. I like the old-fashioned hats and the shot glasses in the storefront of the aged building, in contrast to the modern cars outside. It's all presented in a sort of gritty, what's-unsaid-is-what-matters fashion, true to the street photography tradition. |
