I had this idea as soon as I saw the challenge. First problem - I moved the right leg and it fell off. I considered doing something about a missing limb, but decided to go with my original idea. Second problem - how to remove the metal rod that would not turn. Pliers and time solved the problem. Despite the issues, it was fun creating this image.

You did something I really admire, you took a wooden figure and gave it emotion. Still one of my favorites in the challenge!

Poignantly empathetic. Bumping up.

She'll be back, Woody. Go clean the kitchen so she'll be happy when she gets home.

Lovely, emotive image... love the darkness, yet all of the detail.

Very well shot to illustrate the concept - I imagine you might have been getting dinged for it being so dark, but if that's the concept it's better that way.

Ah! Great image. The darkness, body position, and lighting almost scream "sad" "depressed" "rejected". Your use of negative space on the right side adds nicely to the effect.

I like the concept, but the image is quite dark, with no highlights or contrast to draw the eye to the subject.

Why do ya think??! ;-) Great job. Love the low-key!
