I'm astonished this didn't do a LOT better. It was one of the few 10's I gave in this challenge. Exceptionally lovely light, and deft handling of same.
I like the warm golden middle ground, and the overexposed sun. it captures that point of the day that does not show up as much on film, probably because the sun behind creates a flatness, a fuzziness- but this is the very best part of the shot. (Perhaps that leaning tree didn't do you any favors with the voters...)
