I had several comments regarding the fact that I did not include any text on the tombstone. I was trying for the reflection more, which is why I chose the back side of the granite marker. I appreciate all of the positive comments and I learned alot from submitting this photograph.

Very nice photograph. The reflection is moving.

lil too dark(on the make-up too)

you can't really tell its a gravestione without the text (I assume thats what it is)

the subtle reflection, the arms leading to the reflection of the other grave. Just a great shot!

It is a very interesting image, and is framed very well, but is more of a contrast than a transition.

Deep, and such a serious little girl. Nice effect, I would have liked to seen the hand more in the middle. A really neat shot, maybe (but it might not work) would be to have the girls reflection photographed, but not the girl.

The transition isn't clear enough for me, but I know what you were trying for. Good use of the full 150k tho :o)

i really like the framing, but the camera seems a bit tipped to the left.

Is that a grave or a memorial? Either way it would fit well, but it would help define the picture if the meaning of the wall was portrayed better

Very touching photo.

I presume this is a tombstone; I think it would be better to get some inscription in frame.

I kinda wish there had been a name on the headstone(if that is what it is) ... I just looks like a piece of polished granite

What is she looking at? Appears to be nothing on the marble.

Is this a tombstone? If so, maybe including the text would have made some more impact in this photo...

A great idea. Perhaps a name on the headstone or maybe a black shinier head stone to give a greater reflection. The drama in this photo is right there just waiting for a bit more something.

This is a great photo but I wish I could tell what the girl is looking at. It appears to be some sort of memorial but I don't see any writing on it so it has no meaning to me.

This is the very same idea that I wanted to go with but I couldn't find the time to drag my teenager to the cemetary. You did a much better job than I would have done. Good job.

interesting attempt at a 'cradle to the grave' shot. Shame the reflection isn't stronger from the stone but the light isn't helping you here.

The shot has lots of noise in the shadows, however its the concept of the shot that stays with me. This is a great shot regardless of the camera.

would have liked to have identified the grave a lot sooner than I did. Otherwise a very touching (pardon the pun) shot. The melancholy look on the subject works well

Weird comment: this is the best "death as transition" photo. I enjoy the human factor in this showing the two sides of life and death and the reflection in the stone. The only improvement would be to see the actual words on the gravestone. It is a headstone, right?

Great job. That's a powerful image. Not much I would change. I may have gone B&W but great nonetheless.

This is a great shot with a lot of emotions in it. Sorry, but I don't see the transition message, though I can infer many. I love the shot. The face of the little girl has a very strong impact on me.
