Outstanding Capture!

Very funny, I love it, and I love the game...

You know, it wasn't until I chanced to view your pic and Johns side-by-side that I realized just how well you matched the lighting and pose of his shot. Nice work!

This is so classic. Congrats on 4th, but I wish you'd made it higher. Brilliant photograph :)

This is the only one that made me laugh out loud... gotta give it the ole 1-0!

That's definitely an artery clogger! Nice job on recreating Setzler's photo with a humorous twist, although this wasn't one of the most original ideas (others recreated past photos) I really thought the photography here was great! You did a nice job of getting the sem effect as Setz and not having a raunchy "soft porn" photo. Great job! It looks like the girl is sucking in quite a bit, I think it might have been nicer with a little more curve to the stomach, maybe I'm wrong there though. -7- Good luck... ps... it would be interesting to see what Mr. Setzler writes as far as comments ;-)

Near perfect copy of the original! Very funny! Lighting is great and almost identical. Pose is exactly the same. Got a laugh with the hotdog. Good luck in winning the challenge!

LOL, I wonder who made this one?
01/15/2003 02:01:55 PM
Great model, and a very original idea. HaHa! My only complaint is the ribbon has a silvery thing next to it causing a distraction. Maybe I ought to concentrate on the rest of the photo! 9
P.S. I went back and reviewed the original "Forbidden fruit", and came to the conclusion that if this isn't yours, John Setzler, then it is a brilliant piece of work in matching skin tones, body form, and lighting!

Nice twist on an old theme. Your lighting is goo and skin tones are perfect.

great shot, but wrong category man ......

I can't tell if this is John making a joke, or another person using the idea but I laughed out loud when I saw this one. It looks so much like the other one, just this time a big hontdog right between her legs. Ha! Funny stuf... 10

Pretty funny. The skin textures seem a bit distracting to me. It isn't quite as smooth as Forbidden Fruit nor is it cropped as close. None the less an excellent parody. If I could vote on this it'd be a 9

I can see stretch marks, and not on the hotdog.

If I could vote on a scale from one to ten I would have given this one an eleven. Very funny and true to the original picture it is poking fun at.

I appreciate the humour and the concept .. but it does not make me smile. I know it very very very difficult but I am really distracted by the skin imperfections, even this shot. Please not offense. 6. lionel

You cut off her butt. I think that dampens the effect of all the curves, but I supose no one will care about that. I like the lighting. no glares, hot spots of annoying shadows. There is a shadow on her back, but I think that's good, not bad. Can't wait to see "Forbidden Breakfast" and "Forbidden Brunch". "Forbidden vegatables" should be interesting. The background works very well here. Nothing distracting and very complimentary to her skin. Focus and clarity are about as good as it gets. Good luck in the challenge.

This is really very similar to john's entry, easily recognisable, which is great :) I think to improve it a bit it should be made a little more obvious what the snack is. I guess it is a hotdog (double meaning? hehe) but it isnt really that clear. Maybe placing that at a different rotation would help. The skin is quite strange as well. Maybe you have used neatimage? Some areas have no texture at al, and some do. It is a little bit off-putting but not at all bad :)

Overall nice humour photo :)

Great spoof, very funny. The left side doesn't seem cropped tight enough for some reason though. And why is the hot dogged wrapped like that? I've never seen that.

Well done! Is the the same model as last time? (I am assuming nobody would attempt to re-do one of John S's shots!) Good color. Silly me, but what's the red stuff wrapping the hot dog? 9 Swash

I dunno how you did the lighting it but it's almost identical and guess what, it's funny!

PS: I'm sorry I didn't do the lust thing. I left my G3 at work and didn't have enough light to work...

Great lighting and use of position. I would use some finishing powder (make up) to dull the stretchmarks on the hip area, it works well to stop the shine on skin especially if you use a flash. I think it would look even better with out the red wrapper around the snack, but maybe that is the way you want it.
