Not sure about this one but the potential was there

[Feb. 1st, 2014 12:59:12 PM]

It is a candid hence no control over the nose ;)

[Feb. 2nd, 2014 12:50:33 PM]

The main entrance to the National Gallery is a big glass door with water pouring down on it. This gave opportunity to many of my "through the water" photos. In this one the girl was inside behind the door and she was posing for someone outside, probably her mother. I never remember the exact steps I took in PP as I like playing with it but I used Color Efex to shift the colors and add light vignette. I tried to make it look like a cross of an impressionist painting and an old photo :)

I love the idea and she is a cutie. What doesn't work for me is the smushed nose. It just seems like too much -- maybe a slight touch would have been better.

Artful, appealing image of a lovely girl behind glass. The paint-like effect works very well. The blue hat provides a nice splash of color. It's her joyful expression that really makes the picture sing.

I love the "feel" of this image. I like the colors and the processing very much.

I like the tension caused by her hands... but... arg.

I really don't like her nose being squished. I've given this a 6, but I think it would have had an 8 from me with the nose not being squished.

*sigh*

Sorry!

Loving the found filter, even though the patterns make it look like she's frowning or crying :)
