I saw this as a sectional thing; a big geological vertical slice of earth crust. The geologists are on the surface. The giant green fish reposing down at the 200-foot level is going to frighten the crap out of those geologists when their drill bit starts bringing up humongous green scales. Could be a dragon of course, especially if they are, as seems very likely, Welsh geologists. Oh, Boyo!

P.S. Thank you.

I didn't vote in this challenge, but if I had it would've gotten at the least a 7. Congrats!

I'm in the "love that you included the putting green in the front" camp. Just a wonderful concoction of landscape and whimsy

We often say that voters are 'speed voters'. Well in this case people appreciated an elegant and wonderful approach to the challenge. So glad it did so well Neil :)

Really, really nice photo. Nice take on the challenge as well. I'd imagine you have plenty of shoehorn police asking a lot of questions, but I enjoy photos of this sort much more than a manufactured something or other. Well done.

I am having a hard time finding your subject. The green in the foreground distracts my eye from your true subject.

excellent, but you didn't need the foreground kind of spoils the comp, and I would of gone for a letter box style frame. 8
