Talk about a last minute entry!!! I didn't get to editing until about 10 minutes before leaving the house the day of rollover. I literally downloaded the images, selected this one, edited, and uploaded in 10 minutes. I'm not even sure this is the best editing I could have given this image, but it is what it is.

The "astronomer" is our very own [user]hihosilver[/user], who drove up to Griffith Observatory (where this was taken), to meet up with me and [user]GeneralE[/user], who was visiting L.A. She's looking at Venus. Although I've been to the observatory dozens of times, this was the first time I've been inside the telescope dome, so this was very exciting.

I'm so enjoying the comments in this challenge. Although not the most original idea, by far, references to Uranus are leading the pack.

I think I might have titled this "I see Paris, I see France..."
