 I liked the textures of the feathers, especially the fluffy ones.

All I really did for this one was lay the feathers on a black velvet background, stuck my hand through the pile, and used the natural sunlight from my window as a light source.

There was very little post-processing done... just a little tweak of brightness/contrast.

I love the black on white....I think painting the models nails red would have added a ton of impact to this pic...

The color makes this work for me, those pink fingers in the black and white feathers. Didn't even have to worry about desaturating... Well done.

Ok, you get my 10. Reason? The stark contrasts between beautifully lit and very realistic colors of the solid fingers versus the monotone blacks, grays and whites of the masses of obviously very soft feathers. Neat composition. Very striking image. Really love it. Has "touch" written all over it. Different. Thanks for sharing.
