Shot on my kitchen table with a single SV 150watt bulb diffused through a diffuser screen from above and right.

Post shot I used PhotoShops 'Autocolor', a minor hue and saturation change, ran it through Neat Image and applied an unsharp mask to the image then cropped the image and reduced its size.

I actually knocked it down once (as I was setting it up but it was only partially setup). My wife knocked the whole thing down leaning on the table to get her had in there around the difusser stands. Thats why I went with my daughters hand (in the submission thats her hand)cuase she was small enough to squeeze in there. =)

Really nicely done. The lighting and composition does portray that feeling of wanting to touch it to create that domino effect. Very imaginative indeed.

Thanks everyone for the wonderful comments. I sure can't complain, first challenge and all. I figured someone would ask...so here it is. The result of my kids drawing straws to get to see who knocked it over when I was done. My son won. =)

Very good idea, well done with the white dominos. I hope you did some high speed captures when you knocked it down. I am sure there's a very cool pic in there where it's half up, half down.

excellent! I love the layout of the dominos - the spiral is very eye catching and I love the hand ready to flick the first one and start the tumbling action. Your lighting is perfect and the composition overall very pleasing. my favorite so far!

Very creative idea, it really plays with my eye. The picture shape is great too, I get tired of print size. How did it look with a lower and/or stronger primary and/or primary light source?
