I initially used a texture from my library of downloaded textures. With 30 minutes until rollover I remembered that I had to take the picture of the texture myself. So went and grabbed a shot of the peeling paint on the ceiling of our soon to be remodeled bathroom and here is the result. And then I forgot there was a required title.....Oh well.

So obviously the steps were: combine the shots in overlay mode, erase all but the face and use silver efx for the b&w

Wonder how much better my score would be if I hadn't forgotten the title requirement, I wish people would judge the picture more than the title but that is their perrogotive I guess.

if i get one more comment reminding me of my mistake i'm going to scream....

Your title is wrong, and that prevents me from "seeing" the photo. I'm sure it's nice, though.

Great lighting. I love his stare, like something is about to hit him and make him fall apart even more. The eyes and the face look SO amazing.

"The title of your image MUST be "Falling Apart"." - your title is "Peer Pressure". Just thought I'd point that out. :P :P :P

You scored VERY well for a DNMC entry, so be pleased. In fact, I goofed and gave you a 7 (it should have been a -3 to that for DNMC), but I think most people did not check the title REQUIREMENT and judged the photo only (which is very very good and one of the best of the person literally falling apart)

What Peer Pressure made you title an image Peer Pressure in a 'Falling Apart' title only challenge?

Good use of expert editing. I suspect some will vote lower based on the instruction in challenge detail: "The title of your image MUST be "Falling Apart"."

The image is very well done! Good idea to go BW to make it easier on yourself.

Not such a good idea to disobey the naming rules... I fear you'll be dinged on the score.

Great image but why not follow the rule on the title? May hurt your overall score which is truly unfortunate :(

Terrific capture with a well down effect applied. My top pick. Nice job.

Good base photo. Strong mono conversion with excellent tonal range. Well applied, believable, texture. Only real cons for me are that I would have liked to see a little peeling or flaking, and on a somehwat petty note, I am drawn to the brace which is sort of holding him together and is at odds with the rest of the photo!
