What really happens after the swing..
I was trying to get the club smacking the ball, but the timing was next to impossible, most of the shots came out like this. The grass flying in the air kinda looks neat.

Took this with Nikon 50mm 1.8D. Thanks to Derek for taking over 100 swings.

Great capture - I'd prefer to see the leg off-centre though.

Excellent timing. I kept looking for the other piece of the tee.

This is excellent stopped motion and great focus, but just not a very interesting composition in my opinion.

nice one - too bad both feet weren't in the frame.

Excellent capture. Another interesting take on this could be to take 2 shots, this one and one of the club swing (showing motion blur) and combine the two. I dunno, I just think it would be cool (aside from the challenge). I like the depth of field.

I like the stopped motion of the tee and blades of grass up in the air, but find the shot overall to be too dark (at least on my monitor) and the compositioni appears odd in that there is just one leg showing.

Great shot - FAST - it looks like the grass and tee are just suspended there. Also love the Depth of Field (or lack thereof) -- 9

Nice DOF. The tee and grass is really sharp. Maybe a slightly different angle so the tee isn't so aligned with the leg would help the tee stand out even more (I realize this is a bit picky). I also think it would look good with a more off-center composition.

VERY nice! This is one of my favourites - definitely. It almost looks like its set in glass!

So well "frozen" that it has a "stuck to glass" look about it.
Well done...8

If you had got the ball in the picture, it would have been amazing. It's still pretty good. It must have been difficult to get that.

Bravery points on this one if you actually got your camera that close to a swinging golf club. ;)

This shot's original and done well. Good luck on this challenge!

Very nice capture. This is one of the best shots in this challenge for capturing great detail in a fast action shot. Really nice job.
