 Not really shooting for the challenge but bird does fit so what the heck. We have a nesting pair of Horned Owls outside of my work, unfortunately they are always deep in the trees and I have not been able to get a clear shot of either of them yet. It should be interesting when the eggs hatch to see the baby Owls and especially watch as they learn to fly. From what I have read the babies shake the nest violently and sometimes cause the nest to fall apart as they learn to flap their wings. I am sure there will be more shot to follow as they progress.

Nice shot... I think Owls have great vision...and he is looking straight into the camera...lol..watch out the fella might be going into attack mode...lol...5.5 ???...sheesh...
