thanks for the comments folks.

meat is murder is the title of an album by the smiths, one of my favorite bands from the 80s. the album cover had a photo of a soldier that had the statement written on his helmet. when i put this shot together, that title immedietely came to mind. neat and i both have similar musical taste so i had a feeling she'd catch the reference. :)

for the shot itself, it's made up of some photos i took last year. the background is actually my "grunge" entry and the soldier (me) is an outtake from the military challenge. the helmet and jacket belonged to my dad who served in the us army during the korean war.

far out ... this is intense .. love to know the story re smiths ..
i dont fully understand the title and how it connects to the image .. it looks like a war scene .. when i think of the comment 'meat is murder' i think of ppl eating animals for meat .. i would really like to be enlightened .. coz it is an amazing image .. so powerful .. :)
