 I'd really like to know what was wrong with this image to get 15 votes under 5. When I create an image that I like I'm always happy (and I love this one), but I can't understand what didn't work for so many people. There were no 'merry christmas' or 'happy holidays'? Or what else?

I was not focusing on the low votes, I was trying to analyze the voting pattern. When I get so many low votes most of the times the image is not so good in terms of quality or it's DNMC. Assuming that this is not DNMC I thought that people, not seeing something like 'Merry Christmas' or 'Happy holidays' could have penalized the image. Not complaining, just understanding :)

Why focus on the negative? You got 42 votes above 6, and 14 above 7. Personally, I think the Grinch stopped by just to vote on your shot.
There wasn't enough context for me to really understand the text, which kind-of left it unresolved. Great concept and well executed. (and no, I am not the Grinch, or one of his minions).
