 Wow, it's very cool to have 2 images in the home page :)

For the ones who are wondering: I always thought that some of the wonderful atmosphere of northern landscapes was due to water compared to high mountains (like what happens with mountain lakes or with fjords) so I took an image of one my favorite mountains and mirrored it. Like this an otherwise 'normal' landscape became a wonderful place! And I thought that the bird could be a nice final touch to give balance to the composition :)

Just gorgeous - the color is sumptuous and I love the composition. The bird was a great idea. My top pick in the challenge. Congratulations on the ribbon.

I can't really imagine this not being a FS blue, so it's a bit shocking to see it second to anything, but Gyaban's was wonderfully bizarre and interesting. Incredible photo.

Edit: Ha! Joke's on me. I thought this was real. Well, that just shows your excellent PS skills. Well done.

Certainly not stock photo quality, but a nice image. I'm particularly impressed by the striations in the ice that put some real texture to the reflection. Nice capture.
