 Just a snapshot from Wachtenburg in Wachenheim, near where I lived.

Not much to pick from during this week. Had just returned from the states and was in over my head with work, life-altering decisions and... and... oh yeah, a five-month-old.

Horizon at 50/50 is a drawback of the superwide lens. I want to preserve the wide angle of view, but if you tilt it off axis, things go funny quickly, and that leaves you with horizons dead in the middle of your frame.

Gorgeous sky and beautiful day. Is that some kind of deck on the left? Just wondering what the umbrella is for.

I love the view. I love how the German towns are all gathered closely in the center of a wide bit of farmland/vineyards. And what marvelous weather you had on this day!

It took me a moment to figure out that was a closed up umbrella. I wish it could have been cropped out. Lovely sky and scenery!

The picnic umbrella is oddly jarring, until I note that the houses in the background look suspiciously like modern suburbia. Interesting mix of old and new.
