 Lucky me! I had a vacation to Emerald Isle, NC for this challenge. I'm ready to move there :)

Bear - according to this page
Tidal Chart
- if I am reading it right lol - high tide should be at 7:53 PM and this shot was taken around 7:19 PM.

I did have to look it up because I was not 100% sure lol. But what I do remember is that for a bit, my son was able to sit and play there and then the water kept creeping up and splashing over the mini sand dunes.

This shot has sooooo much atmosphere, all the blown out bits, blah blah who cares, photography rules should be and can be broken and still attain a wonderful shot like you have, and you should also be very proud of, and for that you get my only Verineat for the challenge and a 10.

Interesting scene with the sand 'cliff.' I'd prefer more focus on either the fashion in which the sand has eroded or the individuals in the shot. As is, it seems a bit split between the two.
