Compelling is a good way to describe it. Congrats on the PH Blue- well deserved. I really don't have any intelligent "art type" critiques of any merit, so I will simply say, i like the patterns of the building in the right background, the pleasing foreground arch, the intrigue of all the empty chairs, and the row of trees leading to the distant "s."

Landscape, manscape, no-hand-scape... Who cares. Nice work.

Remarkable photo! The tight crop to his head is wonderful as is the arc along the bottom and his loneliness within a crowd.

Yes, I marked this with an enthusiastic 10. I wonder who gave you the other 10.

Love the tension created by the guys head so close to the edge, sitting awkwardly up there. And that white semi circle is more than enough to balance the top.

Hmm..don't quite understand the intended meaning.

The landscape seem incidental and this scene seems more about the man in the chair. I do like it, though. Interesting street photography that makes me wonder what the story is. I just can't fit this into my definition of a landscape, however.

Not the usual landscape but that's what makes it stand out and be enjoyable.

Definitely a novel approach to a landscape. Works for me (but I'm a sucker for a great B&W candid...)

Although I love this... it's beautiful, to me... it's a a man at a table.

To be a "landscape", at least in my book, the focus of the image needs to be farther out to the horizon. But, I'm just one opinion. :D

Great shot, not sure how it fits into a landscape challenge but I don't care because I like the shot and I'm sure that to you it fits so I will give it an 8 anyway.

Great black and white, as a photo alone this is a cool emotive shot. Just doesn't fit for the challenge imho.

Just STOP and think! Revaluate ... landscape and all, why we take pictures and why we look at them.
The landscape of the soul's conflict.

He looks so sad, even though I can't see his face. Great stuff.
