Wow, most palindromes are just stupid. Took me a long time to find a handful that were good, and worthy of having a photo taken. It's been a while since I have done a studio shot with beer. It's always fun, especially after the shoot is done :)
Looking back to my Color on Color entry, I did take some learnings back with me. Especially the part about condensation. The beer used here is room temperature, which meant the glass stayed perfectly clear as I poured a frothy headed (another key learning based on comments) mug full.
Lighting for this was via two flashes. One flash was behind the setup, gelled purple (a very Royal color, to tie in the title), and had a diffuser on it to help spread the light. Another flash was in front of the setup, about 2 meters high, and pointed down on the bottle/mug. It was gelled 1/4 CTO and had a honeycomb so as to concentrate the light on the subject with minimal background spill.
Post Processing:
* Straighten and Crop
* Clone out a drip of beer near the bottle
* Increase definition
* Tint controls to correct color
* Desaturate purple from table
* Color mono-chromed the table to bring back natural brown
* Topaz DeNoise
* Increase saturation and vibrancy
* Desaturate blue (took tint out of bottle and returned label to natural grey)
* 85% desaturated purple from mug (mostly to let the handle stick out more, but also because it's more pleasing overall)
* Export as TIFF
* Resize
* Sharpen Edges
* Save as JPEG

Post challenge: thank you for the color comments. I should have shown this to someone and got that feedback ahead of time. Here is the color I was going for:

Why did you choose a pink background? Regal to me would be red or royal blue? The pink seems to really "not work" with the amber beer colour, but that is just me ...
Beautiful shot. A few specks on the table/bar. I think it would have been even cooler if some of the foam was overflowing from the glass. They also look a little close to the (back) edge of the table.
But the colors are nicely shot. The purplish-pink background works well. Nice detail.
