Seems like a good idea to have a central place to bitch, moan, gripe, whine and complain about whatever the current challenge topic is. That way, people who like to hear moaning and groaning can "watch" this thread, and those who don't can "ignore" it. Personally, I don't take any of it seriously enough for any particular challenge topic to bother me, but some people seem to, so my curiosity compels me to at least try to be offended by one or more of the current topics. I'll start with Cats

Cats??? WTF? I don't have a cat. I hate cats. And Advanced editing?? Why not Expert, so I could at least take a bunch of photos of random furry things and composite them together into the shape of a cat. Sheesh.

Ahhhh, that was actually very therapeutic.

You could shoot your frown and turn it upside down?

Thank goodness you have a DNMC challenge, you can take a bunch of photos of random furry things, put a smile on it, and ramble about tea party's and such..

Or stick an orange wedge in your mouth and give us a big Sunkist® smile ...

O.K. that last suggestion gave me the heeby-jeebies.

It made me remember the surreal, eerie scene where the character of John Locke cracks a 'orange smile' in the show Lost

Sorry, I never watch that show — I assume I remember it from an old commercial. I least I wasn't suggesting the archtypical "Say Cheese" ...

That!!! - :-D now tell me that is not freaky (o.k. even more freaky when you put in the context of where that occurred during the show).

Hmmm, why do I get the feeling that that smile might make an appearance somewhere;-)

Since the announcement of the cat challenge, I have not seen one cat, anywhere.

Me either. Penny said she saw one in a window in Cambridge passing by, that's about it. Not even a barn cat lurking in VT or NH :-(

I have several I can send you, if you promise to love them and provide them with wonderful homes :-)

We've two cats in the house. But they are dumb, or is it me? Tried to offer them a very tasteful mussel, but no, they preferred to steal goat cheese from my kitchen. I think the "stealing" part is the most interesting.

That would certainly liven up the "box of crap" pass around game.
