Ya know, I gotta tell ya....

I'm extremely disappointed in all of ya except one other soul that made mention of the site itself.

It's obvious that this is a controversial subject and that the opinions differ wildly.

Nobody is going to get a consensus and it's going back and forth ad infinitum.

I guess that some consideration for the best interests of the community and the site management doesn't mean a hill of beans to you guys that want to split hairs and play semantics.

The bottom line is that if we have some level of concern for not trampling that thin line that's being trod, and just NOT mess with nudes, photographers *OR* models that are under 18, then *NOBODY* will be in trouble under any circumstances.

As I said before, I'm not trying to propose that the Site Council or anyone for that matter censure, sanction, or otherwise make any regulations; I'm appealing to the consideration, common sense, and sense of propriety of the community itself so that we have an established code of agreed ethics *WITHOUT* having to make it etched in stone.

Am I missing something in thinking that this would be a good idea that shows some real effort on the part of the community to do something for the site and its administration for a change instead of forcing them to draw the line in the sand?

There is no thin line. An underage artist with an adult nude model is legal in any art form. What SC does is up to them, but IMO, it would be a bad idea to set a precedent for no reason.
