I thought I lost the original of this shot which freaked me out. After I found it I saved it in 20 different places, re-re-re-edited it 5 different ways. Without a single doubt, I think it's the best shot I've ever taken. I put it up in Sepia for kicks BUT what I want to know is, what's your absolute Best Ever....well, best shot to date? Nothing to do with scores...popularity or DPC just what you think is your best.

Here's how I first presented it

that's really a tough thing to choose. I think this is my favorite in my portfolio by far.

I've got some I really like, but none that are really "good" if that makes sense.

I haven't taken my best shot ever yet...

Neither have I (let's hope) but what do you think is your best to date?

Okay, it was hard but I'd have to say this one because it was such a "moment in time" sort of thing and it reminds me of one of my favorite places.

I have another but it's a secret ;)

well I suppose this is my best so far. A magical moment in my life. Everything seemed to fit i n - the lighting was perfect, the deer were arranged in a perfect orientation, and I was there :-)

I have higher scoring images and I have images that I personally like better, but this one is probably the best photo I have ever taken. I have tried several times since to capture something as close to this good of this same boat and I havent come close.

I'm still trying to get my best shot ever. I don't think I'll ever be able to.

This one just blows me away. It's one of the first shots I saw on the homepage when I first visited DPC and it literally made me gasp.
It still gives me goosebumps.

This is a tough question but today I find this one my best yet.. storytelling image that tells so much of the San people of the Kalahari desert.
