I'd really like to think I haven't shot it yet, I mean really what is there to work for after that? If I had to choose my best shot to-date, I think I would choose this one, it means the most to me.

I just like the feel of this one.

Beautiful!!! :D I love pictures of kids! They are so innocent looking...

Hmm, this is hard, but I'd probably say this is my best so far:

I think this is my personal fav.:

This is what people here seem to find to be my "best" - if I go by views and such at least.

one of my favs.

This was on the opposite side of the boat while I was shooting the sunset. I always try to remember to look both ways at sunset since then.
I don't have the tools (PS/Play Station) to do the PP like USM (User Supplied Magic,) so most of what I have is almost as right from the camera.

I don't think you can predict or set-up the best photos - they just happen.
With young children and babies, you can take 1000 images and get 1000 faces - I always come back to this one - most people didn't "get" my bokeh bubbles ;]

yes: it score under a 5!!!

Nice photos being posted for the most part though! I just can't ever decide on what *my* best is, because it's just too subjective, even to my own self.

Dang! Now I feel bad.

Thinking over my original post I realize that I did have something specific in mind but to circumlocute boxing anybody in or out, I let it ride.

Your Best Shot...an image you've taken thus far, that best conveys why you bought a camera or why you put in the time. Not your most popular by any means but something that does connect with people. Perhaps in a way only you can appreciate...maybe an image that was antecedent, seminal or something that sparked, deeply linking you, your subject and the viewer.

It's NOT about about photography. It's about the photograph.

My best shot ever, to me personally, is this one.

I have others that people pick over this one, but This one just feels so classic to me.
