Night-vision capabilities. I could capture some really neat wildlife shots of the nocturnal critters!

An "Auto Hover" feature, so I don't have to carry a tripod everywhere for my nature shots.

An auto level horizon line so that I don't get the your horizon seems a bit off.

There were some neat moments during the last shuttle trip to the space station where both crews were hanging out eating a celebratory dinner. When it came time to take group portraits, they'd simply set the timer and let go of the camera with everyone in frame. Watching the camera float there and then take the picture was awesome. I was quite jealous. That and the fearless tossing of the camera back and forth between crew members.

I don't know if your 350D has it, but my Nikon D200 has a "grid line" display. It's not on by default. I turned it on and I can now line up my horizons a lot better. You should check it out.

You beat me to it!

My biggest mistake I make (besides taking hundreds of crappy photos) is having the ISO set to 1600 when it's perfect for 200. If there was something in the view finder that told me what the ISO was, that would be handy.

I wish mine had . . .

Get a Sony :p

Back to the OP, What I'd really want is a camera that fits nicely in my pocket that has a low-noise, high Dynamic Range dSLR sensor, and has a sharp fixed lens that does not protrude from the camera body.

Upgrade to a D200. The D200 always shows the ISO in the viewfinder.

I would like for mine to have 3 separate sensors. One to record R, one to record G, and one to record B. Each sensor would record highlights, midtones, and shadows respectively on each sensor. And then the computing capability to merge them into one high dynamic image in range and color.

A hologram feature or an invisible feature so I could take better candids.

working on your idea, I think it would benefit more if there are 2 sensors; 1 takes RGB in the brighter areas while the other 1 takes RGB in the darker areas, giving me undefeated dynamic range flexibility!

That sounds familiar... Almost... Almost like a

SIGMA FOVEON SENSOR!

Even better: It's to save the lives of many people who may have hidden internal problems or bone issues. Imagine how many attractive young women are currently suffering from various bone and muscle diseases? And don't worry, once diagnosed, a special backrub in my bachelor pad will solve those problems in no time.

May be you are on the wrong side. Nikon has spot metering even to the cheapest dSLR model.

Yeah me too, almost!!!

The only one feature I would like is either one of the following:

a) make the RAW burst from 22 to 80

or

b) be able to shoot RAW that are not full size but more like half size JPEGS, sounds strange I know but for a principle I am working on at the moment I still need to shoot RAW and about 80 of them in a burst too!

and I wish for a "nude model" button that, when used, miraculously makes a pretty nude model appear right in front of my composition.
