I want some kind of reminder. I allways forget change my ISO setting back to 200.
Maybe I'll learn someday... or I'll have to learn to like that extra noise.

cant you use one of the Custom modes? Most camera have it, and I'm pretty sure the D70 would have one.

Then I probably would forget to change that custom mode to "normal" mode. It's relatively easy to change ISO (one button down and rotate command dial).

Even male?

May be you are on the wrong side. Nikon has spot metering even to the cheapest dSLR model.

Yeah. When it has the good-shot-o-meter I'll switch over ;)

The quality of the optics in the Canon 70-200 2.8L IS lens, but built into a 24-300 2.8 zoom so that I could put one lens on my camera and never have to take it off.

I wish my camera had an attachment to put it on a rifle and take a photo when the trigger is pulled, making it a true gun camera like fighters have.

Yeah I know....dream on. :-D

That's exactly what I wish too... In low light, starting from ISO 400, images get so grainy, even I cleanup they don't look like pure... I wish any ISO would come out like ISO 100, in any lighting conditions

*I think that will happen in the future*

And Auto GPS reading right in the exif data, so that when my notepad falls into the water and I loose all my notes - I can get figure out where the F#@$(*#$(@#*&$ I was when I found the Owl nest, or the Falcon scuttle or the bear den. ARG. I can always find my way out of the woods, but I can never get back to the same place twice. lol

Sigma has these, the SD14 I believe is the mod number, just came out.

My D200 has got one of those. It's right on the back, about 2.5 inches square. ;)

Only $999 :-)

I wish my camera had a lenscap sensor with a speaker, so it could scream out "Hey dumbass, your lenscap is on" before I hold the camera up to my eye and look like an idiot.

Edit: not that that's ever happened to me of course. ;-)

Looking through the viewfinder is the best way to check if the lens cap is on. It's quicker than flipping the camera over and looking at the front of it...

Thumbprint scanner to add "Photographed by" to the exif.. for when multiple people use a camera at the same location and it becomes hard to tell who shot what.

A proper DEP mode rather than this A-DEP thing. The EOS film cameras have it, why not the Digital versions.

How about turning the LCD into a multi-function touch-screen: thumbprint scanner (could also lock the camera with that!), tiny keypad or handwriting-recognition for taking notes, calculator ...

Ooooooooooh. Awesome.
Now all that needs is an mp3 player, I think! :-D

a "free upgrade button". Push it and the camera morphs into a 1Ds mkII
09/05/2006 03:53:21 PM · #73
I want the body and extra features of the 1d mkII n on my 5d for the price I paid for the 5d(of course cheaper would be nice but I think that price is actually doable for canon) and then I want my wife to swap with me and have her use the 30d instead:) oh and a button that made it have the internal IR filter whenever I wanted.

I want a camera that can "see" the way a human eye might see. Not blowing the highlights coming through a window when I'm photographing something indoors. I hate doing composites.

Or better yet, a camera that sits inside my eyeball, so that when I'm driving down the road, I totally don't miss the amazing shot that I would otherwise miss were it not for my trusty Eyeball-Cam.

Only difficulty I can perceive would be the upload.
