Probably one of my most out of the box and most under-appreciated, IMHO.

Of course, this one was also out of the box. In fact, it involved removing thousands and thousands of grains of salt and pepper from their respective boxes.

It's also my best scoring entry ever.

Well.....first of all, as I found out, you cannot nominate yourself.....that'll get you a virtual slap....8>)

That said, I like them!

We've also taken this to a newer thread....join us there, won't you?

OOBIE nomination:

it fits the challenge so perfectly. The whole energy and humor of the photo depends on the match between the two shirts. A classic example of a great interpretation of the challenge that went over the head of most voters.

I'm going to bump and nominate this. It is really OOB and a great photo to boot.

And a note to the voting (ie winning) Team Suck team - there can be more than one winner in some instances. Just a thought. :-)

Jeb, many thanks for the nomination. Oddly, I've gotten four favorites off that photo. Wish I could send you the goat - I think he's awfully cute myself - but he is living happily in a petting zoo at Magnolia Gardens in Charleston (they take in primarily rescue animals and/or animals whose families can no longer care for them). It is nicely run and a great place for kids to learn a little about conservation while they try to dodge my tripod. Just kidding on last part :-)

I'll second this one......it's a quality pic....and definitely OOB.

For some reason, that little bit of missed desaturation doesn't seem to bother me.

I liked this one......

I wanted to get this nomination in so I fired it out earlier.....here's my elaboration: This was in the procrastination challenge and I liked it because it was such a strange photo in the first place. completely title driven, and yet it works because the title is odd enough that this totally off the wall photo really works with it.I get it though I do think it's a stretch.

The funniest thing for me?

If I would have found this in one of those offbeat "Name this Photo" contests, I would have chuckled and moved on knowing I wouldn't have been able to come up with a fitting caption if my life depended on it.

It's got all the earmarks of an OOB pic to me.

Can I have the goat?

I'll give it a good home!

I have plenty of space for it.

Although there are lots of recent examples of OOB stuff from Team Suck, I've been thinking about nominating this one ever since the Twelve Days challenge.

Edit to add: it is so funny because it is one of the Partridge brothers in a pear tree.

This guy lives in my city. I have seen his truck at least half a dozen times. Makes me hoot every time I see it.

That picture was actually taken very close to home. I fuel up at that gas station in the background all the time.

I nominate Jimmie for his dark humor in the Procrastination challenge

And how about this up and coming OOBer - CaliKat07

well, because this Song Title really made me nostalgic - who was it did the original version of "Every time we touch, I wanna eat you" ?? hmm.. was it Barry Manilow... David Soul... Leo Sayer... Ozzy Osburne?
