I actually believed i'd get some sort of top ten or honourable mention, my score was that good at the beginning.

And this is one of the best images i've ever done. I have no hope left!

believe me scoring 6.5+ in monthly free study, the image has to be wonderful. You seem to forget that you are up against 500 other entries and people have put efforts in it. Being on top of them has to be something really good.
In a free study if I could score anything 6+, that is very good.

Been on the roller coaster as well...woke up this morning and I was at 7.10...later, I was at 7.14. Dropped and rose and dropped below 7...now I am:

It's an interesting vote pattern this time around. My last 5 challenges, at least, the score has been pretty stable after say 40votes. Not veering far off a tenth up or down from the final score. But really flexing down this time. I've noticed if an image falls between 6.5-6.8 or so the score is more stable during voting. Real lows can go higher and peaks go lower. Going from 6.6 to 6 is what I hate most :P

Can someone go and give me an extra 0.016 point on my score so I can make it pass the magic number of 6.0 It would be so nice to have one that finishes above, had 3 that haev hit it intra week but never finished above it.

:) Dont really care about the score thought because I have 3 great comments.
