What is it with high scores at the beginning of voting, and then the inevitable drop in marks as the week progresses - this has been the general trend of all my entries. No doubt, this phenomenon is mirrored by others!!!

In the 6 challenges I have entered so far, they always start low, and get higher as the week progresses.

I most certainly will!
I have voted 20% and had to stop, I have never seen so many beautifully executed boring pictures, Come on DPC photographers get out of the sunset, beautiful models, waterfalls, cute kids and pets mode!
I am not trying to put any one down there are excelent photographers on the site but it seems like the trend is oh! this is popular with voters lets do it again!

As a serial offender in 2.5 of your 5 catagories listed above. I must add flowers and crazy barnyard animals to the list. Oh, and buildings too. And big eyed bugs! ;) |

I am not going to jink my score at this moment, But I will say right now it is in PB territory. Not saying to much however seeing that would only have to be higher than 5.83....
I will say that it is a step in the right direction though, and I need to thank  bassbone for his help thus far and also Melethia for being the first to comment on my image.

Got a nice comment and an 8 from Hot Pasta (thanks Enzo). It probably won't make my top 5 but should stay in my top 10!
I'm more used to a 6 raising my score but quite happy for a 6 to lower it lol. Mid 6's but will wait for the magic 100th vote to start thinking what it might finish at ;)

Ten votes ago I was at a 5.72. Five votes ago I was on the cusp of a 6.0 with a 5.94 or something like that, and now I'm back to where I was ten votes ago. They all cancelled each other out.

That and I like giving/recieving comments. It's like pulling teeth to get comments out of other people though. Maybe it's because most of my images are "middle of the pack" quality or maybe people are afraid to just comment because I won't "check" the image as helpful.
Give a comment, even like "nice smile", if you see anything you like? Sorry, this is sounding more like a rant now; I'll be quiet. BB
