Well he made the most of it, and we had a quiet birthday dinner at home, but before that he was being "filled" for 3 hours with immunoglobulin via an IV, day three of five consecutive days of this infusion therapy for his myasthenia gravis. Never a dull day around these parts!

I'm very late to say this, but Happy New Year, Robert!

And Happy Birthday too.

All the best!

Quiet birthday dinner home sounds great but...myasthenia gravis? Since when? I'm sending my best wishes for recovery and calm and patience.

Well, I'm obviously too late then.

So...

I'm just going to be really really early for next year!

Sadly, there's no "recovering" from MG. It's a degenerative neuro-muscular disease. We CAN hope that its manifestation is less severe than it might be, and that's what the IVIG therapy is for. Tomorrow's the last course of IV, for now at least.

Just been kicking myself about missing your birthday. So.. belated good wishes and a (Hug) sent all the way from Germany....

Then I read about your illness ;-(
Robert, I'm really sorry to hear about you suffering from MG. Totally shocked describes it better.
Here's wishing you all the luck in the world on the IVIG therapy.

All the very best,
Irene
