Dang Susan - Sorry for your DQ. I, on the other hand, have been absolutely BEGGING for a DQ to avoid the humiliation of the Brown. SC says I have to just tough it out. At least  Art Roflmao has designed a nice Crappy F.Arts ribbon for me. ;-) |

I have been going through and trying to comment on as many of the shots as I can. I made sure to comment on my 9's and 10's as well as sub 4's and will try to get to as many as I can before Sunday. Doubt I will get to them all though. |

it would be great if people utilized the Nudity Checkbox. I have mine hidden but it hasn't helped one bit in this challenge. Or does that only work for when a challenge is over? hmm never noticed

Only works when the challenge is over - that's why some of us get some of our 1s (by way of a protest vote!) |

MY entry got DQed. I guess adding defined grain constituted as a new feature. I thought it was within the rules when I submitted. Oh well... =(

Hmmmmmmmmm - I thought adding grain was OK or is "defined grain" something different from the grain in Elements? I added grain and didn't get DQed, even though I wanted to. ;-) |

I'm with you, I never turn my scores on either as I just don't want to know till it's over. I only have 6 comments compared to the ton of them that everyone else is getting but they are all very nice comments. 6 Very nice comments. That is great. |

I am getting ready to start scoring the Fine Arts Challenge. I did not enter, but I want to see all of the work.
Before I do, I would like some tips as Fine Art can be so subjective. Anyone have some suggestions?

earlier comment stated the image was "subject artfully unappealing" and recent one states "definitely quite arty" all the comments are Great! I hate this shot, but maybe it is art......hmmmmm (still haven't decided on a self DQ, not because of the score, it's a ugly shot)......
