Many thanks John - I'm glad it resonated somewhere. When I looked through the entries I felt I had (quite inadvertently actually) gone another way.

The only dilemma with the six-fingered-hand was to find peace with its symbol and I opt for: "Gathering of mystical power". (It might not be your first choice Don.")
I am delighted and honored for the recognition and for accumulating as many as you think are worth awarding me. They are really what counts for me the most along with some splendid comments (including critical ones) from fellow DPC-ers. Thanks!

I'm a little late with this but thanks! We were on vacation and I processed this without really seeing it so I'm happy with what turned out!

A very interesting project would be to take your fantasy art gallery and make a real show of it. A new thread? A virtual gallery, as they start to appear on the web. Same for the "cause and effect" hand awards images
Again, Thank you!

I was going to suggest a drinking game based on the number of possible Posthumous Ribbons for Shotglasses and then I looked at the entries... nevermind.

Thank you to Don & Ben for Queen.

A commenter asked how the effect was achieved: slow shutter, tiny aperture, late camera movement and fat raindrops on the lens front element. Then crop & curves.

HM to those that got some love from the voters, an therefore weren't technically under appreciated, but as they got top marks from me in the challenge, thought it worth a mention nonetheless.

My own FS entry this month was so very unimaginative that I feel rather a fraud posting these up. Nonetheless...

Two images from the Longer Look comment series attracted score of 10, they were:

and

But at 200th place the goes to bspurgeon for:

I also gave out five 9s in that comment series. They were:

There were four 8s too:

I commend these images to you for your continuing viewing pleasure!
