Cruellest month indeed! Had a hell of a time submitting this Micky Mouse thing. Hope I get 5.5 for effort.

"APRIL is the cruellest month, breeding
Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing
Memory and desire, stirring
Dull roots with spring rain."
T.S.Eliot

I did not get the mere 5.5 for effort, which was my "sad" joke. But for what I got instead I am truly greatful, honored and having this little fuzzy feeling that might be called joy. And all Don's colorful hands make mine feel more nimble, and that starts from the little grey cells!

Reminds me of the worst year of my life, actually a blessing but I did not know it.

outstanding effect and processing. This is a real beauty of an image, but also disturbing, frightening, exciting...

I'm sorry, but even with your title I don't see how this fits the challenge description.

What a cool image!!! Doesn't say sad to me, but makes me want to stop and explore. Looks like an illustration for a modern edition of Poe poems.

I'm feeling that this photo conveys more spookiness than sadness.
