Deadline is midnight. I'm giving the contributors two days to decide without having new ones flying at them.

Didn't have any time during the week but I'm aiming to get them all done before midnight.

Part of the fun (and learning experience) from this great side-challenge is looking at how the final result was created. Not necessarily step-by-step, because for some of us, that would be impossible. But some sort of roadmap would help a lot.

I think it was a brilliant idea of Cynthiann's to incorporate that into the original side-challenge guidelines.

PS I see lots of the participants are doing that.

Here's what I have for now, I'll do the rest if I can after I get home from work!

Edited to add all of my shots.

I like the idea of points for place-getters. I also like a selection of different shots to play with. If I find too many, I'll just do as many as I can manage.

I did a lot of layer work on this one in order to pull in the light feather detail that was almost invisible on the bird. Details in the notes.

I agree. I tried to remember everything but sometimes I can't remember all of it.

Was having some weird internet trouble last night, but I'll update the OP with the submissions made before midnight last night and give the contributors until Sunday night to pick their winner. It was fun and I can't wait to start anew on Monday.

Cool! And for those of you that missed this week, there are still 3 more weeks left in the challenge and plenty of opportunities for points so it's not too late to join in the fun.

I'm going to have a hard time picking my winners this weekend. I'm sure the other contributors are in the same boat I'm in. I'll prolly post my winners tonight.

For the rest of the contributors, just post your winners here sometime before midnight Sunday and I'll keep track of the score in the OP. Actually, please PM me with your results. I'll post our scores in the OP of PP Side Challenge Week 2.

Monday, we'll start taking originals if anybody is interested in seeing how other's would PP it.

I'm excited! Are you announcing the winners tonight? And then tomorrow we start over with new ones?

I mean, I don't care if I win, it's just giving me something to do! LOL

You and me both! Hubby works out of town and kids are grown up for the most part (17 & 19). This challenge has become a bright spot in my somewhat dull days.

I hope you feel better soon.

Thanks! The neurologist is looking at my MRI this week so hopefully he can tell me something!!!! Meanwhile, I'm having fun doing this. Trying out new processing that I don't normally do too!

I know who I want to nominate as my winner and place-getters. What do I do about it?
