Well you can count me out.... My lens is jammed. Every time I turn it on my screen reads "zoom error". Now in the panasonic's defense, I had taken it to a concert during which it fell multiple times and was stepped on, after which it would have a bit of trouble....it finally gave in... I'm not a happy camper. Mostly, angry with myself... The competition is stiff so best of luck to team Lumix though!!!! : )

If the status changes I will let you know!

I already have one entered for the Urban Decay challenge! I think Trollman is going that way as well.

Certainly we can rub their Leica logo red dots in it if we smoke some them in the weekly challenges.

Sounds good. I'm in Urban Decay with the Lumix.

I'm in too then.

I already submitted a 5D image but changed it to a Leica image. Not entirely on target for the challenge and may get hammered with some DNMC's but I'm excited to see the comments (if I get any!).

I think I have 1/2 images for the FS. Would have been better for another challenge but am out by 1 day for that one. -Do we consult each other regarding our entries or proceed as usual?

I started a PM thread with the new PM system with my team members so we can review and critique.

I recommend you do the same for the Leica team.

Remember though, do not vote on team member's images if you know what they are.

I bought an LX3 yesterday and fired a shot into rural decay. Onmy front page it's the one scoring more than 3 :)

:-)

You'll love it. It's a delightful little camera! I'm not scoring gangbusters with my current, but it's not sucking completely either. Now my FS option.... well, if I go with the one I like best, it won't score well, but it will show a bit of the capability of the camera.

Has everyone submitted their entries? Mine is in :)

Go Leica!

Got an LX3 for Christmas and I love it! Took pictures yesterday and submitted an entry in the FS.

I took this macro hand held with the Leica today. To be a small pocket point and shoot camera it has excellent macro abilities and is very sharp.

By the way, my urban decay entry with the Lumix:

On the plus side, the competition should show that both cameras are quite capable little cameras. :-)
