Hey guys, thanks for a fun challenge, and congrats to the Leica folks on the victory. Some really nice work on both sides, that shows what this camera can do. (because we all know they are the same after all! :) |

I know - butt ugly guy but I'm impressed with the quality of the Leica. Took this SP with the D-Lux 4 hooked up to my studio lights (just one large octabox actually). I don't think the 5Dm2 (or any other camera!) would have made me look any better... :P

I have jost got a D-Lux 4 as a Xmas present.
Here are some of my test street shots (I bought it mostly for that purpose).
I've tried to minimize editing and did not do sharpening except the minivan (only 1px unsharp max 61%). The minivan is without any filters (I hadn't got the adaptor from Lensmate that time), while the others with a UV filter. I haven't used the CP filter yet.
I haven't had a chance to check the Lumix, but this lens is just fantastic. The vibration reduction is also very effective.
