You're a beach crowd girl now, so your shot is exempt.

Actually, I think the Brown is mine. Shame, as I actually put in the effort to use a tilt-shift technique without having a tilt-shift lens (or anything close to it).

I think thats what the large majority did with this challenge, with a handful of Lensbabies and two or three actual T/S lenses. I think there are some great shots entered. Personally, i really like 'miniature' photographs and there are some very well done ones here. I really wanted to enter a Lensbaby shot but i just couldn't get one i liked in time, and i wasn't really happy with the miniature type shots i was doing so i ended up entering one which was neither really at the last minute. Well, it's slightly miniature i guess, smallish maybe.

Ah, i might have misunderstood you there. You mean you used a tilt-shift technique in camera and not in PP? Interesting.

Right, a tilt-shift technique in camera. With my kit lens. Which was insanely hard. And the subject is still blurry, even in the "in focus" area.

Ah, very cool. I look forward to seeing which image is yours. Nothing wrong with blurry 'in focus' areas, but we all know what many DPC voters are like! :)

R.

I entered a lensbaby shot. Doesn't seem to be doing that much better than yours, but I
expected worse.

Took a bit of a drop but plateauing at 7.3+ after 38 votes. Looking at the competition and early days I'm not that hopeful of a placing, but between this and my free study this month I may loose the first photo I ever entered (Jan 2005) of my profile top 5.

I'm assuming that would be all of us because I'm pretty sure if you check everyones profile they do NOT have a tilt shift lens

There's at least two people with tilt shift lens that have posted in this thread. And many more with lensbabies. Anyway, i'm sure rinac was just joshing.

High voting challenge. Great stuff. I only ever give out one 10 in a challenge though but there were a higher percentage of 7s and 8s than usual in my view.
