Nope. I'm below you somewhere. Haven't had a 7.0 since day 1.
Thinking about the statistics, it will be interesting to see how many 7+ images there are. On one hand, with 1000 entries, we should expect 3x the usual # of 7.0 images (with the average challenge being less than 300 entries). On the other hand, voting is heavy and the more votes entered, the harder it is to not regress to the mean. That may pull the # of 7s down. If I guess, I'm expecting a dozen 7+ images and think I'm sitting somewhere around 30th at the moment. :) |

Wow there are some spectacular shots in there! Well done everyone for participating and super well done to everyone who has upped their commenting game for this challenge. I am thrilled to have received 39 comments on my entry, way beyond anything received before, and while the vast majority of them are only one-liners, they are nearly 100% positive so I'm happy. What's also great is the number of votes to views, that's a pretty high ratio.

...is their an Idea here for DPC to run more challenges like this....?
would be great for all of is who cant make the time deadlines to compete.....and have HIUGE comp - like this one...

Well the comments have helped me get to a *facepalm* moment with the cropping (the photo looks much better now thank you), and at least one had me laughing out loud. It's like a group hug comp. :)
