Greetings from cold and wet Bagram! And congrats on the impending Grandmotherhood, Kelli! (New model! New model!)

I'm the proud owner of two 5.2s and a 4.7 as far as scores go. Nicely sucky, but not good enough to compete for browns. I'll keep trying. Brought the Rebel with the pinhole. Hope to find some time to shoot sand or something so I can have a reasonable 3.0 for this month's Free Study. I think I've become a tad jaded about the whole challenge thing.... think?

Oh - and should you find yourself on a med-evac (empty, heading to pick up passengers) flight from Ramstein to Bagram, take a very warm blanket. My toes are still frozen!

Hope your toes thaw out soon, Deb...I'm up right now at 2:40 am cause new p/t job is only a couple of days a week (so far) but involves tons of standing, so my poor flat feet are still sore and even flatter than they were before! And hey, isn't being flat-footed still an automatic reason for disqualification as a potential army recruit?

Scores right now...4.8 for FS and just over 5.0 for Fauna and Rock Song. Really bummed about the FS cause it did start early at 6.0. Or maybe I was being punk'd? Quite a few others seemed to have suspiciously high scores.

Anyway better try and get back to sleep now...zzzzz...

I believe the April fool dissenters have a pejorative term, 'childish'. You know children? Those little people with apparently boundless energy who can see and believe in fairies and who cry when they hurt and laugh when they tickle and feel cheated when they're cheated and proud when they win and who love all wide-eyed and open because either nobody told them not to or at least they haven't learned. And the term is used as criticism? These aren't one day fools, they're full time professionals.
