From the Ministry of Natural Resources:
"Hi John
I want to thank you for submitting a photo to our photo contest. I̢۪m pleased to tell you that your photo has won 1st place and will be on the cover of the Rondeau Tabloid 2009. I was hoping you could send me the full name of the photographer so that proper credit can be given in the tabloid."
The shot: ... a clip-in:
The Rondeau Tabloid is published once a year, and used as a park guide for the year (i think). So my plan is to take my family there this summer, carry the tabloid to the souvenir and ice cream shop and demand free ice cream cones and Canadian flag umbrella hats!

Slippy, congratulations and all that - but please don't tell me you really truly have a sensible name like John.... |

There's some strong haloing, and that pole is distracting, and I wish that the parent and child on the dock had their arms in a slightly different position, and the wood doesn't seem to have been weather treated as well as it could have been, so maybe next time you could stain it first and give it a finish that would compliment the sunset colors a little better.
:D
No, but seriously, congratulations, that's always a great feeling.
Just clone out that damn tower :P |

Oh No!! We won't be able to live with you now!
Brag, brag, brag! I'm the best, I am important!
I pity your new barber, cos of course you will only go to the best, and boy will that head be bigger:)
No more squirrels, far too mundane for such a celebrity.
:) Good on you, matey! Enjoy it...while you can:)

The MNR? It's a scam! They'll ask you to pay for the copy that you carry in to the souvenir shoppe.
'grats. Must feel nice. |
