I think it was one of yours I was looking at, Ursula. It asked me if I was friends with you or some such. Didn't have time to investigate further, but don't recall seeing where to leave a comment, either. I'll check back later.

OK - I went to the home page, clicked on Artists, clicked on Ursula, and I get, in a gray box, this:

"You must be friends with Ursula I Abresch to see all content and be able to write on the wall. Click on "Add to friends" to the left if you know Ursula."

~~I should add that I don't think I'm logged in at the moment. Maybe that changes when you log in?~~
Nope, strike that, I AM logged in.

Weird.

AND I apparently have an email from Robt telling me I need to confirm him as a friend there. Not sure how to do that.

there is a difference between leaving a comment under a photo, and writing on the wall of a photographer. Anyone can do the former, but only friends are allowed to do the latter.

confirming friends is easy... if you click on "account" in top right corner and click on "Friends", you'll see "New friend requests" on that page.

WOW...just visited the new 1x. Gets some getting use to. I like it a bit....maybe with more time it will continue to grow on me. However, I did notice one difference that was painful.....it is running extremely slow, pictures are slow to upload and view. Is this just me, or are some of you also having the same problem?

Ooh, if you go to settings in your account you can now get the site in black. Just in case you hadn't seen that feature

Thanks! I like it better for viewing images but I still cannot see full size images taken by others - I get endless rotating 3 lines showing that it is loading. I suspect it could be some Firefox bug. Has anyone got this problem?

I feel that the problem with this one is mainly the composition, the portion of the sky you left there doesn't communicate a message to me, it doesn't add to the overall scene perception. I'd like to see more of the sea though.
