Purple squirrel baffles experts

A purple squirrel which appeared at a school has baffled experts who are unable to explain its colour.

Looks shopped; selective hue shift. Is this allowed in Basic?

Reminds me of the glow in the dark green piglets. Those are real.

I think it's likely a doctored photo, look at the amount of purple saturation in the shadows.

Heh, too funny!
My guesses would be either that it fell into a pot of die OR that someone trapped it and deliberately dyed it and released it for a bit of a laugh!
Speaking of Chris Packham, he was on a ship in the Antarctic with us until the 15th December so they must have nabbed him for a comment sharpish when he got back!

I would think it is Photoshopped too, but more than one person has seen it and they have apparently made a big deal about it in that town. Old printer graveyard would certainly explain a lot :)

Thanks for sharing! He is so cute!
